Upsets Galore in College Tennis
It's a very busy weekend in college tennis, and all those conference rivalries have produced some surprises. On the men's side, the University of Michigan upset Illinois 5-2 Friday night in Ann Arbor. The Michigan Daily featured a preview on Friday, describing the decline and fall of Michigan tennis and its current resurgence under Bruce Berque, who, of course, was an assistant under Craig Tiley at Illinois until 2004. Other upsets included Clemson's men taking down Wake Forest, the North Carolina women defeating Miami, and the Arizona State women beating UCLA.
Another notable match, although not an upset, was Mississippi's six-hour, 4-3 victory over the Tennessee men.

What did Boyajian do to get suspended?
I heard Boyajian , throw his racquet at his opponent ,
and when he got the point penalty , he cursed at the ref.

Apparently, Jaklitsch was hooking him and then, he hooked him on an ace to defend a break point. When broken, he went nuts and ripped the awning on the court and threw his racquet. He was defaulted, he appealed to the tournament director who gave him a reprieve.
