March Aces and Wake Forest's Todd Paul Learns from James Blake

My post this week for The Tennis Recruiting Network is a look back at the aces of March. If I had had a photograph of John-Patrick Smith of Australia, I would have used it; as it is, he got lumped in with the other three Aussie boys high in the ITF's world junior rankings.

Davis Cup starts tomorrow, and Winston-Salem North Carolina will be jumping. A soldout arena, and the fact that Nadal isn't playing, should give the U.S. a boost. I've read that Sam Querrey was enlisted into practice partner action, which, with Mardy Fish, Donald Young and, according to this story, Todd Paul, seems like plenty of help for Roddick, Blake and the Bryans.

This story, about Wake Forest senior Todd Paul and his relationship with James Blake and Brian Barker, features some interesting comments from both on making the step up from the college game.
