College Notes
With all the junior tennis going on, I've neglected college tennis, but we're in the heart of the dual season now, so news is plentiful.
A surprise on the men's side over the past weekend, at least to me, was Ohio State's shutout of Notre Dame--I would have thought that a candidate for a 5-2 or 4-3 outcome. The recap is here.
Today Wake Forest's men's team, which wasn't at the ITA Team Indoor, defeated Duke 4-2 in Durham. Details of the match from goduke.com are here.
Stories about head coaches are surprisingly rare, but this is a good one on Miami women's coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews.
And with all the recent publicity on men's tennis programs being dropped, here's some good news about the University of Mobile's program being reinstated.
