Eddie Herr Recap; Anisimova Wins Nike Junior Tour International Masters Title

Before the start of the Orange Bowl quarterfinals, here's my recap of last week's Eddie Herr International, posted today at the Tennis Recruiting Network. Because I've been covering the Orange Bowl all this week, I haven't been able to prepare the slideshow and videos from the Eddie Herr, but I hope to have time to do that early next week, prior to the start of the Junior Orange Bowl in Miami.

While the 16s and 18s are competing here in Plantation, there was another big tournament for the 12s and 14s--the Nike Junior Tour International Masters in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Amanda Anisimova of the United States, the No. 2 seed, won the girls 12s title.  Eddie Herr finalist Adrian Andreev of Bulgaria, the No. 3 seed, won the boys 12s title, with two Great Britain players taking the 14s: No. 6 seed Max Stewart and No. 2 seed Anastasia Mikheeva.  For more match accounts from the tournament, and complete draws, see the tournament website.
