Monday's Finals Set for USTA 18s and 16s Winter Nationals; 12s and 14s in Tucson Also Expected to Conclude on Schedule Monday

The first gold balls of 2022 will be distributed Monday with the finals of the USTA Winter Nationals on tap at the 16s and 18s in Lake Nona Florida and the 12s and 14s at the Reffkin Tennis Center in Tucson Arizona. Three of the 18s singles finalists will be competing in the doubles finals, with Piper Charney, Nicolas Kotzen and Lucas Brown all in the running for two gold balls. I was able to watch some of the 16s singles semifinals via the National Campus Playsight system; the 18s semifinals were not on courts with Playsight.

Due to bad weather the previous two days, two rounds of singles (the quarterfinals and the semifinals) are on the schedule today in Tucson, and the doubles format was shortened to an eight-game pro set. The results for all the quarterfinals haven't yet been posted, but I'm including the results that have gone up, and will update everything tomorrow morning, hopefully with the pairings for the singles and doubles finals in all four draws.
