Collegians in ATP and WTA Top 10 in Singles and Doubles; Barry and Columbus State Top ITA Division II Rankings; UTR Adds 50 Pro Tennis Tour Events; ITF World Tennis Tour Men's and Women's 2nd Quarter Calendar Released
With former TCU star Cam Norrie of Great Britain reaching the ATP Top 10 for the first time this week, former collegians now have a spot in the Top 10 in men's and women's singles and doubles. The ITA created the graphic below to raise awareness of this success, and I have to confess that I didn't realize that former Auburn standout Tim Puetz of Germany had reached the Top 10 in doubles. He and Michael Venus (LSU) have had great success recently, and Venus, who is currently No. 11, reached the Top 10 in 2019. The seven players represent seven different schools.
It's been a while since I've featured the Division II rankings, here's the latest from the ITA computer, published today. Click on the headings to see the ITA article with the full lists.

It's odd that there are no USTA Pro Circuit events for men or women this week, but they will resume next week in Florida with the Sarasota Challenger and $15K in Sunrise for the men, and a women's $100K in Palm Harbor.
The ITF has published a calendar for all its second quarter men's and women's tournaments, with the men's here and the women's here. Men's events in the US were sparse in the first quarter and don't really get back on track until June, with nothing at the $15K or $25K level in May.
UTR released a revised schedule for its 2022 Pro Tennis Tour, which includes 50 newly added events.
