Top Junior Prospect Will Guzick:: TennisRecruiting.net ~~~
Julie Wrege at TennisRecruiting.net profiles Will Guzick, one of the most interesting junior tennis players I've ever met. Obviously with his 1600 SAT scores (2300 in the new format), he'll have his choice of any school, and with his already long list of accomplishments, there's no doubt he'll make the most of the opportunity.
Will and his sister Sarah were prominently featured in a recent article in the Southern Section News that's available via this
link if you have Adobe Acrobat. (Patience is required; it's the whole newsletter with lots of photos and graphics, so it takes some time to download.). I'm pleased to see that they are both entered in the USTA Spring Championships in Mobile, where in just a few weeks, I'll have a chance to see them play.

he is good
Will Guzick, I saw him loose in the first round of the ITAs at Princeton, 10-19-07 but very impressive. Totally polished game and strokes. Many offensive shots from inside the baseline. 1st serve was excellent: placement, spin and speed. 2nd serve needs work. Great net game and court sense. Laughed at himself, smiled at his bricks, worked very hard in "long" rallies. Needs shorter back swing on returns from the add court. What a great kid! He will win a ton on matches for the Crimson. Plays the game like it is meant to be played...total class...a lot like Roger????
