Below are videos of the champions from last month's ITF International Spring Championships in Carson California. The videos of the finalists can be viewed at my TennisKalamazoo YouTube channel by click on the names below:

Photos of the 16 singles semifinalists are now available at the Tennis Recruiting Network. The photos of the eight teams in the doubles finals are available here; I apologize for having to use Google Drive for this, but I'm still struggling to find any workable slideshow plug-in.
The draws for this year's NCAA Division III team championships are out, with both the teams from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps the overall No. 1 seeds. The Middlebury men and CMS women will defend their 2018 titles this year in Kalamazoo, and I'll be covering the team and individual tournaments May 20-26.
Unlike Division I, Division III doesn't designate or post seeds, and nearly all the participating teams are automatic qualifiers via conference championships, with "at-large" teams extremely limited compared Division I. (The 8 at-large men's teams are listed here and the 9 at-large women's teams are listed here).Only 49 women's and 43 men's teams make the field, with 34 women's teams and 22 men's teams having matches in Thursday/Friday's first round of play.
As I mentioned, the seeds are a mystery to the public, but below is an educated guess(with help from someone with more expertise). The CMS women lost to the Emory women in the Indoor final, CMS's only loss, while Emory's only Division III loss was to Middlebury. But that Indoor head-to-head contest didn't convince the committee that Emory should be No. 1, unlike the Division I committee, which put Georgia at No. 1 because they had beaten No. 2 Carolina in the Indoor final, UNC's only loss.
Women's Division III Top 8 Seeds:
1. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
2. Emory
3. Wesleyan
4. Middlebury
5. Amherst
6. Bowdoin
7. Chicago
8. Carnegie Mellon
Williams, a perennial contender, did not make the tournament this year.
Men's Division III Top 8 Seeds:
1. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
2. Emory
3. Middlebury
4. Chicago
5. Amherst
6. Wesleyan
7. Washington University-St. Louis
8. Bowdoin
According to the Division 3 Tennis site's writers, Washington University-St. Louis was on the bubble, with a less convincing case than Brandeis, which did not make the tournament, but the Bears are in, and seeded seventh.
The women's draw is here. The men's draw is here.

Well Williams did lose Raventos and Cancio
and definitely watch out for Middlebury. They were quite good last year at Biszantz, and they didn't lose anybody, methinks. No surprise they beat Emory. Rachel Kahan is the HC(Duke). Hope NCAA doesn't rain out there at Kalamazoo!
