Women's Division III ITA Team Indoor Championships Begin Friday in Kentucky; D-II Indoor Championships Debut; Emory Tops New Men's D-III Rankings; Nadal and Dimitrov Head to Atlanta for Exhibition Monday
The Division III Women's Team Indoor Championships begin Friday at the Top Seed Tennis Club in Nicholasville Kentucky, with Claremont Mudd Scripps the top seed and defending champion Emory seeded second. Centre College is the host school. Friday's schedule:
Emory[2] v Brandeis[7], 9 a.m. EST
Carnegie Mellon[4] v Chicago[5], 9 a.m.
Claremont Mudd Scripps[1] v Centre College, 1 p.m.
Pomona Pitzer[3] v MIT[6], 1 p.m.

Division II has never held an Team Indoor Championship, but this year both the men and the women will be in Oklahoma for their inaugural events this weekend. As with Division III, the tournaments feature eight-team fields and are played over three days.
Barry is the top seed in the men's tournament, with Midwestern State the host school.

Columbus State[2] v Saint Leo[7], 11 a.m.
West Florida[4] v Wingate[5], 2:30 p.m.
Barry[1] v Midwestern State[8] 5:30 p.m.
Barry and Columbus State are also the top two seeds in the women's tournament, which is hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma.

The new ITA National Division III men's team rankings, which are done via poll, are out today, with 2019 NCAA champions and 2020 National Indoor champions Emory at the top. The women's D-III rankings will come out next week, after the Indoor Championships.

Both Rafael Nadal and Grigor Dimitrov are still playing in the ATP 500 this week in Acapulco, but they have another engagement planned for Monday, in Duluth Georgia, where they are scheduled to stage an exhibition, with a portion of the proceeds going to both Nadal's foundation and the National Tennis Foundation. On Sunday night, a charity dinner and live auction will be held and a courtside meet and greet will also be also available, with the deadline for that opportunity Friday, February 28th.
