Frances Tiafoe being on the list is something of a surprise; he initially entered and was accepted on the basis of his ATP ranking, but pulled out the next day.
I know these decisions are never easy, but I would have liked to have seen G18s semifinalist Sara Daavettila in the field.
Are there others you could make a case for?
My post on the initial US Open junior acceptances is here. There has been some movement of course--I recall that Shilin Xu of China has withdrawn--but the ITF Junior website is unfortunately not available right now to link to the most recent acceptance list. I will add the link when the site is available. (Link to US Open Junior Championships here)

Everyone is saying John Isner had a tremendous summer but being Top 20 in the World, who did he beat? Answer: No one in the Top 40 in the World with some bad losses. His record is good at 11-4 this summer but based on his quality of matches, he should have been more dominate. Average ranked win 82 (62 without Stepanek) and Average loss 62 (30 without Ram).
