The three boys representing the United States in the BNP Paribas Junior Davis Cup competition September 29 through October 4 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico:

The U.S. girls did not qualify for this year's competition. Both the boys and girls won the titles in Mexico last year.

Is this the best team the US can put together. None of the players did anything at the US Open juniors. For some reason, Vinsant got promoted to the main draw from qualies where he got crushed by a South Korean qualifier. Giron didn't even make it out of the qualies.

The US team that won the Jr. Davis Cup last year--Denis Kudla, Evan King and Raymond Sarmiento--all lost in the first round of the US Open Jrs. last year.

Christian Harrison has always played these team events. Where is he and why is he not playing Junior Davis Cup?

Taco Boy--

How many 93s were in the main draw from other countries and how did they do? My guess is that maybe one or two players won a match or two and that's all.

It seems that everyone wants results at every tournament and every age and not focus on development.

The US is such a highlight/result orientated country. I have not seen too much encouraging remarks regarding our usa playes either.

People need to be less of a critic and more look in the mirror and improve themselves.
