Eddie Herr 12s and 14s Videos; 22 Americans Entered in Australian Open Qualifying

The remaining Eddie Herr videos, those of the 12s and 14s finalists, have now been processed, and the videos of the champions are embedded below. The qualifying draws for the 2019 Australian Open were released overnight, with 12 American women and 10 American men scheduled to compete for places in the main draw.  Not all play Tuesday (tonight in the US), but 10 of the women and three of the men are on the schedule.

Due to fortunate draws, none of the Americans play one another in the first round. An asterisk denotes a Tuesday first round match.

*Tuesday first round match

2018 Australian Open junior champions En-Shou Liang of Taiwan and Sebastian Korda were both given wild cards into qualifying.

With Liang's wild card, three of the four 2018 girls slam champions are in the qualifying draw, with 14-year-old French champion Coco Gauff  the only one missing. Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek of Poland plays junior rival Olga Danilovic[6] of Serbia and US Open champion Xiyu Wang of China plays Liu, the 2017 Wimbledon girls champion. Wang and Liu met in the final of the 2016 ITF Grade 1 in College Park Maryland, with Liu winning 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.
